Chicken Road: game review and features

At Melbet Chicken Road is available to all registered players and to unregistered visitors in demo mode. The game uses a familiar crash game mechanic, but with a new twist: instead of the usual airplane, you control a chicken. Yes, that’s right a chicken: you have to guide it across the road so it stays alive. Well, if it doesn’t make it, you lose the round.

Next up a review of Chicken Road at Melbet. This review combines theory with practice: we played several rounds using a strategy suggested by the author, Amari Mwangi, and will share the results.

What is Chicken Road

Chicken Road is a crash game in which you guide a chicken forward one step at a time. After each successful move, the multiplier increases, and you can either continue or cash out. If the move is unsuccessful, the chicken is burned, the round ends, and the stake is lost.

chicken road melbet

In Chicken Road, Melbet players move forward one step at a time. Reaching the final step is necessary only to obtain the maximum win; after any successful move, you can cash out at the current multiplier. The potential payout depends on the difficulty level. Higher levels have fewer steps but larger multipliers and a greater risk of the chicken getting fried.

Difficulty level Number of manhole covers Starting multiplier
Easy 24 1.03
Medium 22 1.12
Hard 20 1.23
Hardcore 15 1.63

In our opinion, the Easy mode is best suited for players who prefer a relaxed game with frequent wins, but above all for those who play not for the money but for the experience and enjoyment.  Medium and Hard are the most balanced and will appeal to most gamblers. Hardcore, on the other hand, is for those willing to take risks for the chance at big wins.

How it differs from other games

Unlike “airplane” Aviator crash games, Chicken Road progresses one step at a time. You cannot influence the outcome of an individual step, but after each successful move, you can either continue or cash out at the current multiplier. This creates a sequence of separate risk decisions rather than one continuously rising multiplier.

In terms of visuals and theme, the game is light-hearted and humorous. Instead of a serious fighter-jet setting, it features a cartoon chicken moving across a row of manhole covers toward a golden egg. The animations, graphics, and setting are designed to keep the experience entertaining.

Update! What’s new in Melbet Chicken Road 2

Chicken Road Melbet has been offering this for a long time-in fact, ever since the first installment of the game was released. As soon as the second installment came out in 2025, it also became available on Melbet.

So what exactly is Chicken Road 2 on Melbet, and how does it differ from the first installment? Let’s take it one step at a time.

chicken road 2: how to play

What is Chicken Road 2 on Melbet

Chicken Road 2 at Melbet is the same game about a funny little chick that you have to guide across the road. The core mechanics of the first installment remain, but the animations and setting have changed. Other differences include the RTP, multiplier structure, and difficulty settings. More on that below.

Key differences between Melbet Chicken Road 2 and the first installment

The main difference between the second game and the first is the busy highway with moving vehicles and the increased number of lanes in some difficulty modes. This allows you to complete more steps per round and potentially cash out at a higher win multiplier. At the same time, you can stop after any successful step and cash out at the current multiplier.

Along with the positive changes, there are some not-so-pleasant ones as well. While the original game had an RTP of 98%, the sequel’s is only 95.5%. However, RTP is a theoretical long-term percentage and does not predict the result of an individual round. Gambling always involves risk, and there is always a chance of losing.

Another feature of Chicken Road 2, Melbet players should note, is lower starting multipliers, which are offset by a larger number of lanes in some difficulty modes.

Is Chicken Road demo available at Melbet?

The game’s developer, InOut Games, has included a free demo mode in its product. Melbet offers this option as well. At Melbet, Chicken Game follows the same rules, meaning you can play it without registering on the platform or depositing funds. However, you won’t be able to win real money in this case, since you’ll have to place bets using “fun money” that is, a special virtual currency. You can win that virtual currency, though.

In theory, the demo is limited by the amount of virtual currency-once it runs out, the free session ends. However, since Melbet Chicken Road allows you to win virtual currency, the demo can continue as long as the virtual balance remains positive.

Tips from our expert

Here are a few betting tips for  Melbet Chicken Road:

  • Don’t choose a difficulty level that’s too high; it’s better to start with the first two levels.
  • Consider cashing out at the 5th–7th successful step; going further is riskier.
  • At the start, try not to bet more than $10 per round, or you’ll quickly lose your bankroll.

And remember: even following these recommendations doesn’t guarantee success, since gambling always involves the risk of financial loss. It’s impossible to predict the outcome with 100% certainty – a random number generator determines it.

Betting example

Here’s an example of a bet in the game from the author, which was placed at Melbet:

  • difficulty level: Medium;
  • bet per round: $10;
  • number of rounds per session: 5;
  • number of sessions: 1;

The third round ended in a loss after an unsuccessful step. In the remaining rounds, we managed to reach the 5th step of the highway (odds of 1.98). This allowed us to win 19.8 in each of the successful “runs.” We lost $10 in the process. As a result, the total profit was $79.2, and the net profit after deducting all bets was $29.2.
